How to request account deletion

To delete your AI Guide account (provided by AI guide s.r.o.) and its associated data, you have two options:

1. In the app (fastest): sign in, open Profile, choose Delete account and confirm. Your account and data are deleted right away — no waiting, no email needed.
2. On this page: in the Delete your account section above, enter the email address linked to your AI Guide account and submit — this opens your email app with a pre-filled message. Or email us yourself at [email protected] from that address with the subject "Delete my account". We verify that you own the account, delete it, and confirm to you by reply email once it is complete.

What is deleted and what we keep

When your account is deleted, we remove:

• Your account profile and sign-in record (email, name, sign-in provider, profile photo URL)
• Your route activity — which routes you opened, your progress and timestamps
• App preferences and settings

We retain a limited set of data after deletion:

• Purchase records (store, product, transaction identifier, status and timestamps) for 10 years, as required by Czech accounting and tax law. After deletion they are kept in pseudonymised form — linked to an internal identifier only, not to your email or name. We never hold card details; payments are handled by Apple or Google.
• Server logs, which expire automatically after 30 days.
• Aggregated or anonymised data that can no longer identify you.

In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Verified requests made through this page or by email are completed within 30 days. Even if you keep your account, route activity older than 12 months is deleted automatically.
